New alternative to urea-formalde- hyde adhesives

Intercol offers adhesives based on Aqueous solution of a urea-formalde- hyde condensation as well. With current legislation we succeeded to offer alternatives that have similar properties.

Special features:
P PR1134 is specially developed for laminating labels on porous surfaces. Suitable for most automatic labelling machines.
Special properties of the adhesive:
 High solids content, preventing deformation of labels
 Very good flow properties
 Very easy to clean
 High wet tack

Composition : Adhesive based on synthetic polymer
Brookfield viscosity : 7.500 mPa.s (HAT; spindle 5; 20 rpm; 20oC)
Solid content : 78,0 %
pH : 9.5
Colour : Transparent
Application in US food packaging:
Conform to FDA CFR 21§ 175.105 (adhesives)
Method of application:
Suited for roller systems.
Cleaning:
Cleaning can be performed with water.
Packaging:
30 kgs. drum – 1000 ltr. Container.
Storage:
Keep the containers closed and store preferably at room temperature.
The adhesive is sensitive to frost. Shelf life is six months.
