Papermills - wrapping hot melt applications - One adhesive in packaging.
Paper mills In general, paper mills use different adhesives for the various applications. This is no longer necessary because Intercol has launched an adhesive that works well for several end uses.

EHM 8964  can do all of the following:
Roll wrapping: especially with thinner paper and box board or kraft liners
Ream wrapping: good adhesion to "difficult-to- bond materials" from a range of paper suppliers Boxes (wraparound plain cartons)

Intercol offers unique service giving our customer opportunities in:
Locally held stocks – in several countries in Western Europe.
Fewer stock items
Lower freight costs
Lower capital costs

Packaging: As the bag is only 14kg or 20kg it is safer and easier to handle than traditional hot-melt adhesive suppliers with 25kg.As there are fewer variations, because it's versatile properties, the right adhesive always goes into the tank.

Recommended application temperature:
Advised hot-melt temperature settings: tank 140°C, hose 145°C; nozzle 150°C
This means Lower temperature than for most other adhesives
Lower Energy consumption, spare parts and maintenance costs are reduced on hot melt equipment
Stringing is minimised because the viscosity is properly designed for the application
The result is that the hot melt unit remains clean and runs consistently The adhesive has a high hot-tack, which means it is able to run on both fast and slow speeds

Lower consumption means that total costs are reduced
Lower consumption also cuts energy costs
Better product allows lower maintenance costs
Cost and price per kg are not the same, higher production rate figures. Improve your production by using the right adhesive and technical advise
