Cord strapping hot melts and PVA (cold waterbased) |
For Polyester cord strapping applications, we can devide 2 different applications:
1. Hot melt glued strapping
The polyester yarns are glued together with hot melt. (high demanding applications)
2. Cold (waterbased) glued strapping
Here the polyester yarns are glued together with a PVA glue. (Economic and standard)
One of our standard Cord strapping hot melts
• Viscosity 2950 cPs @ 160° C
• Softening Point 110°C
• High anti-slip properties
• Tested at high force
• Colour Pale Amber
• Anti slip properties
• Can be applied at 150° - 160°C
