Intercol Adhesives can make most waterborn adhesives and hot melts pigmented on request. The goal for our end users may be various such as:
-preventing printings to be readible
-no shine through of posters
-proof of adhesive being applied (e.g. in case of nailed wooden pallets, it's a quality confirmation).
-Glue detection (UV or other pigments)
Intercol has been doing a lot of research to specific pigments and the influence to the glue properties, in processing and bonding.

Hotmelts worden voor diverse toepassingen en applicaties ingezet. een veel gekende term is wel hotmelt-tape, deze is gebaseerd op een PSA (pressure sensitive Adhesive). Voor het verwerken van deze 100% thermoplastische kunststof, bestaande uit harsen, wassen en polymeer (Bv. EVA) is hotmelt apparatuur nodig, diverse fabrikanten die ook in Nederland vertegenwoordigd zijn:

IN veel producties wordt een lijmmachine geïnstallaard. Lijmen, en zeker hotmelts,kunnen een binding verzorgen van tijdelijke of langere aard, en daarmee de productie enorm versnellen. Het gebruik van schroeven, nagels en andere mechanische oplossingen is vaak een discontinu proces (de lopende band moet even stoppen en het materiaal zit vaak op rol). Lijmen worden vaak inline opgebracht en kunnen gedoseerd worden toegevoegd aan de voorraadtank, zonder prouctiestop. Applicatie is vaak middels een hot-melt-gun (contactloos) of hot-melt-coater (slot die coater of roller coater) |

Dextrin toll bleding manufacturing |
Intercol is able to develop and manufactur filled- and unfilled adhesives based on a dextrin solution. Dextrins are used for various applications such as gluing of paper and board in the tube- and core winding industry, but also for laminating and labelling. Our dextrin based adhesives can be offered and taylor made for doctor blade and cascade system applications.
Dextrin adhesives are one of the possibilities to increase the environmental awareness and decrease your ecological footprint. Dextrin adhesives are biobased and bio degradable.
Dextrin, also knows as “Brown Glue”, can be used on a variety of mostly porous surfaces. Dextrin or Resin/Dextrin Blends are a great choice for many Laminating applications.
Mostly used for paper applications, tube winding labelling and laminating, these adhesives can meet the highest food approval status. |

Intercol's coating hotmelts are often used in soap wrappers, paper banderol labels for in mould labelling of PS (polystyrene) cups, in mould labelled PS/PET cardboard margarine cupschewing gum wrappers, chocolate wrappers, coffee packaging, biscuit wrappers and for many other inventive products.
Intercol's extensive range of heatseal hotmelt coatings are used for all kinds of packaging materials (such as aluminium foil, paper and paperboard and polyolefins films, PS, APET and PETG). These coating hotmelts can be used not only for all-over surface coating, but also for pattern coating, where the surface is only partially sealed with a slot (die) coater or roller print. We have contacts with specialist development companies as well, if you require hight tech, clean room facilities.
on our privatly owned laboratory we are able to test seal strengths hot tack values and yield, offering substantially lower scuff ratings.
