Meer dan 28 jaar geleden is Intercol Industriële kleefstoffen b.v. begonnen met het ontwikkelen van eigen recepturen voor epoxies en gietharsen.
Naast 3 uitgebreide laboratoria beschikt Intercol over (vacuüm) produktie ketels en mengers voor de produktie van de meest uiteen lopende (tailor made) gietharsen.
Recentelijk is de polyurethaan afdeling uitgebreid met de produktie van een componentige (1K) lijm systemen voor de bouw en constructie toepassingen.
Vanwegen de specifieke problemen van epoxies is die produktgroep langzaam afgebouwd (zie voor & nadelen polyurethanen).
