Waterborn synthetic adhesives |
Intercol has always produced solvent free adhesives. We aim to use as many environmental raw materials in our adhesives as possible. The best base to use for our adhesives is logically water. Many of our innovating adhesives have replaced solventbased or harmfull products. Synthetic adhesives are there in many kinds, the most known group is dispersion-adhesives, but there are also synthetic adhesives that have the properties of starch adhesives. An important requirement for most waterbased adhesives is that at leaste one of two substrates has to be porous, to admit the water in it to damp out. Porous can be textile, carton, fibres, wood etc. | |
